MESSI OR RONALDO

Lord have "MESSI" on them! If I were to meet Leo on the streets and someone told me he is the best footballer in the world, id tell you to stop smoking the "Swazi poison" and get back to work. In fact, id be tempted to challenge him to a game of 1 vs 1 and be confident enough to put my last R100 on it!

The word Messi sends fear to any defender in the world, some im sure, think of ways to fake injury at his sight! He plays as God had intented  football to be played, effortless, magestic and flawless. He brings so much joy to millions of people around the world, whether you support Barca or not, you want to see Messi play every week.

Messi is simply the best in the history of the game...

RONALDOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Rumour has it that when Sporting played Man U at Old Trafford at a benefit game, the players insisted that Sir Alex sign him when the match was over. Those that experienced that game, knew they had witnessed something special. He would later become a legend at Old Trafford, scoring priceless goals and winning the CL medal and three league championships.

Madrid came calling, he had become the most expensive player in the history of the game. One would think that with all that pressure and the under wear swim suits model shoots, the player would lose focus. The manicured nails and "perfect" hair, surely it was about time before the player flopped and got sent packing as many stars at Madrid had before him.

Guess what, he carried Madrid on his shoulders and led them to war against Barca and he would later score more goals than the brilliant Messi and win the La Liga! Ronaldo had done it again, against all odds, risen above critism, how does he do it????

He is the ultimate athlete, powerful, strong, lightning fast! He is unstoppable...

Ronaldo is simply the best in the world!!!!!!!! Or is he???

  1. In my heart of hearts the truth resounds without doubt, to an extent that when this player consistently makes a mockery of the word "Defence" even I, his biggest hater and all around non lover (no homo) have had to swallow my words. Messi is without a doubt the best player in the world! I'm choking just saying it, but my word he is. His consistency is almost mythical in modern football, with probably the last player to have been as prolific being the great Diego Maradona. As much as Christiano is a world class player and the most valuable player in the sport to date (subject to the sale of Messi of course), in my mind he does not measure to Messi for a number of reasons. The most glaring, is purely that Christaino is too temperamental. He has moods, and as much as he has the ability to take a game away from the oppostion, he has the equal ability to go 90 minutes unnoticed like a thief in the night. For him I think in the last season he has not had to actually carry his team, as its nucleus appears way stronger than that of Barca. When on song he has banged them in by the boatload, but he also has the ability to not show up in BIG games that really make the difference. The second tick in Messi's column is based purely on the way which he applies this method of mockery. How many times in the last season have you seen Messi start a mazy run, sometimes from with his own half, and think: naah, there is no way he is making it to goal from here!" Only to hear those second grade british La Liga commentators praising the vlass of the man after it all. Physics of the game rejected this man as a teenager, but somehow he manages to ride tackles players twice his size could have received oscar nominations for. As good as Ronaldo is, there are times where you can't see him getting past ur greatgrandmother, and he is just on the field to collect this week's paycheck. Messi on his worst day fights in the same way as he dees when he is unstoppable! But for me the most important factor seperating these two is just attitude. Ronaldo has that aura of "I am God" about him, and being bigger the team and country, and staring from his throne with his nose up at lesser players, sometimes in his own team! Messi, is a football player, plain and simple, and a role model for the sport. No mess, no fuss just flippin good football. For me that takes him a cut above Ronaldo, and the perfect front man for the game... But then again, that's just my opinion lol
